Buy-to-let policy
If a property is lived in by a family member or if any of the applicants intend to live in the property, then the application should be submitted as residential, using a residential product, rather than BTL. Our usual residential lending criteria applies, but our maximum LTV is 80%. There must not be a tenancy agreement in place or rent passing.
